Ikea Trip!

Today will be my first trip to Ikea ever!! I am going with a couple of my coworkers, who know the area better than I do.. So it should be fun.. This newfound freedom without kids home during the day is strange. I am hoping to get some things to help organize my gardening tools. One of my things on my wish list is a large garden bench, so I am not stooping down all the time.

You well find all sorts of fun stuff at Ikea, One of my favourites is the dragonfly string lights they carried last year. Really fun to hang them in the trees in the garden. Plus they carry a lot of vessel that can be used as garden containers.
Happy Shopping, BOB

Ikea is fun but often very very busy here. It is the only store I have ever queued to get into the car park and my husband vowed never to go there again :-) Hope you found everything you needed.

I've always wanted to go to an Ikea...not one near enough to me though. They do deliver online to some places (not mine though :o() Hope you found some bargains and the perfect bench.

I had a grand time and was there most of the day.. I didn't realize how HUGE it was.. I spent too much money.. I knew I would. I got lots of little things.. Didn't find much in the way of King size bed items. I guess in Europe they don't have many beds that big.. I got some galvanized steel tins to put mini pots in.. I also got some sealed jars to put my seeds in. The hooks I wanted for organization were sold out..

I don't know why I've never been to that store. my bf's mom is always saying we should go. I may just plan a shopping day with her.

hi there, I grew up with Ikea and still love it. We've got two stores in the Munich area now, but they are still busy. It is usually best to go on the weekday over here. As far as the kingsize beds are concerned. We have them in Europe (2 meters x 2 meters), but our bedding is very different from what you know in the U.S., i.e. no spring mattresses. My hubby hates going there and it always takes some convincing, too. Andrea
