Miss Terri's Variegated Angel Trumpet

My neighbor has the most wonderful Angel Trumpet.. A variegated one that decided it loved the cooling down of the weather and produced another large flush of huge blooms.. I love that I get to sit on my porch and look across the street and enjoy it.. She is going to root one over the winter for me, crossing fingers it takes, because some variegated varieties can be stubborn.

That Angel trumpet is gorgeous. You must be in a warm enough climate for it to overwinter, as it is so large?
Here they have to be brought inside over the winter, or cuttings taken to make a new plant for the following spring.

What a spectacular brugmansia. I have not seen variegated types before. The fragrance must of been wonderful. I bring them into the nursery but they are grown as a annual and tossed or brought inside for the winter in a sun room. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

When my brother was a grower he used to start Angel Trumpets for me. And he overwintered his nurse plants in a spare greenhouse where he worked.

Sad for me but he quit the job he loved so that he could spend more time with his family (being a grower means long hours especially during certain seasons (for my brother Christmas (points) and Easter (lilies) were especially bad)).
