Neglected and in Hiding..

Bob over at BobsGarden had just spotted a neglected flower in his garden and when he finally looked at it he really saw how wonderful it was.. I decided I need to go out to my garden and see what may be hiding or neglected in plain sight. I have never done anything with the Autumn Sedum I have in my yard. I plunked them in the ground, several years ago and have done nothing with them since, yet they produce every year in August and September. What is not to love of something that is consistant and beautiful?

hi, that's what I like about sedum though. you don't have to do much. It keeps coming back. Have a nice week, Andrea

We have some of these sedums too and usually they are the plants that attract the butterflies in our garden at this time of year. Sadly we have had a shortage of butterflies this year but the sedums have flowered. I agree with you, they just come up all of their own accord and look beautiful.

I planted sedum once. It died. :( I haven't tried it again.

Sedum is one of those plants that thrive on neglect.

I'm glad you shared your sedum. They are the best plants. In the near future I'll being posting about upright sedums. I'm glad your rediscovered your little treasure in your garden. All the best, BOB
