This post is dedicated to my friend John, who is the master of pies.. I found it interesting how the leaf color and the pies coordinated. Perhaps that is why we are drawn to those type of desserts at this particular time of year.. They remind us of Autumn.

Your pies look absolutely great and it reminds me that I have not made any pies since I moved back to Germany. But I brought my Pampered Chef pie stoneware along. So what's holding me back? / Andrea
